Bathroom Lights that make a difference.

Believe it or not, when it comes to lighting, your bathroom is one of the most important rooms to consider.

The men need to be able to shave while the women need to be able to apply makeup, so eliminating shadows over the mirror is crucial. Layering your lighting will also allow you flexibility to create different moods, which is ideal if you wanted to relax in the bath after a long day at work.

Believe it or not, when it comes to lighting, your bathroom is one of the most important rooms to consider.
Placing a light above the mirror will illuminate your face while removing shadows, which makes the perfect set up for both the guys and girls to get ready each morning. Specific mirror lights such as the Pell II or Mett II are made for this!

It’s a good idea to combine your mirror lights with general lighting such as downlights or a flush mount on a separate switch to achieve a flattering lighting scheme, which ensures you’ll have plenty of light in the space. You can also consider putting your lights on a dimmer switch which may come in handy if you want soft, relaxing light but without the hassles of setting up candles all around the bath.

If you’re looking for bathroom heat lights, there are some great choices available that will even keep in line with an ultra modern bathroom. Have you seen the Thermalite range yet? They’re gorgeous!

Just because it’s a bathroom doesn’t mean you need to forego any glamorous lighting options. A chandelier is the perfect way to add a luxe element to the room. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to work with your electrician to make sure it’s installed in line with all the regulations. Just because you can’t hang it right over the bath doesn’t mean it won’t look just as stunning beside the vanity or in the centre of the room.

The perfect lighting in a bathroom will allow the space to work as a functional room as well as a relaxation haven, so make sure you take the time to get it right. You won’t regret it!
