An evolution in sinks and taps

Take advantage of the sophisticated new kitchen and bathroom products released by three of Australia’s leading brands.

Epure by Clark

One of Australia’s most trusted kitchen brands has recently launched the Evolution range of premium kitchen sinks under its new flagship Epure brand.

The European-inspired, Australian designed Evolution series, is visually striking, doing away with conventional rounded contours resulting in a unique square design. The tight radius corners flowing to a flat sink base, conveys bold, contemporary, chic minimalism.

The Evolution range is available in a vast range of undermount sizes from compact single bowl sinks to larger double bowl sinks, as well as 1.5 and 1.75 overmount end bowl sinks (see box). All sinks in the range are supplied with basket wastes and a full-size premium chopping board. A colander and draining basket are also available.

All Clark sinks are crafted from 18/10 stainless steel, making them easy to clean, hard-wearing and hygienic, as well as stain and odour resistant.

Undermount vs overmount sinks

Traditionally the edges of an overmount sink are placed on the counter top which supports the weight of the sink, while an undermount sink is installed below the counter and held in place with strong adhesive.

The choice of sink generally depends on the bench material and whether the edges of the sink obstruct the clean lines of the counter top. Clark’s Evolution overmount sinks have the unique benefit of also being able to be undermounted.

Caroma

Australia’s leading supplier of bathroom fittings and fixtures has released its new Track mixer range featuring a modern oval shape with rounded edges and a polished chrome finish.

The Caroma Track range features a basin mixer, wall basin mixer, sink mixer, bath/shower mixers and bath and shower outlets. The shower options include a rail shower with both a height adjustable hand shower or overhead outlet, or a shower system featuring a fixed hand shower and overhead outlet plus a bath/shower mixer with diverter.

Combining its bold style with energy efficiency, the Track basin mixers achieve a 5-star WELS rating, the sink mixer a 4-star WELS rating and the showers a 3-star WELS rating for water efficiency.

Dorf

Australia’s leading tapware brand has launched three new contemporary mixer ranges ~ Jovian, Minko and Arc.

Jovian has a distinctive appearance featuring sharp lines with smooth edges for the kitchen or bathroom. The Minko collection features Oriental design influences, while the Arc mixers are ideal for minimalist bathrooms with their simple straight lines and curved edges.

The new Dorf ranges feature a basin mixer, wall basin mixer, bath/shower mixers and bath and shower outlets. Jovian also has a sink mixer for the kitchen. The three collections achieve the same WELS ratings as the Caroma Track range.
